Stamp it out – Mental Health Stigma and Discrimination
Date: Wednesday 10th July 2019, 7pm – 8.30pm
Venue: Tree Tops Children’s Occupational Therapy, on Road, Aycliffe Business Park, Co Durham, DL5 6UL
Essentially “Stamp It Out” is a partnership Project delivered across County Durham as part of the Time To Change social movement challenging mental health stigma and discrimination.
They are hoping to reduce stigma and discrimination towards people who experience mental health problems by raising awareness amongst the general public, within the workplace and other settings.
Karen Ray, Chair/Trustee of Stamp it Out will be coming along to our group to explain how they can support parents. Karen herself has a background in mental health. She will be chatting informally about mental health and what we can do about it. On this evening, Karen will also be bringing lots of information which will be of benefit to us.
Do come along and support the group and Karen. It will be an interesting evening and of course the usual refreshments will be available.
Add your name to this post if you are able to come along.
