Our #AskFizzwig today had a great question that you will all relate to
One of our parents asked, “I have an ASD/SPD child and I feel their sibling just doesn’t understand or gets left out. What can I do or say to help?
For all those in a similar position, why not contact our sensory parent support group? On Friday 1st June, 10-11am they are hosting a free sibling workshop which explains why SPD/ASD children will have meltdowns, dislike noise/brushing their teeth or feel awkward in social situations. They are going through the tools that are used to help these difficulties. The last workshops they hosted did wonders for the families.
For more information or to book a place, contact spdpsgnee@gmail.com. The price is £4 per child and they have two groups 6-12 years and 13+.
