Are you looking at getting a dog or even train your pet to help your ASD child? Read on…
Dear Tree Toppers
We think this is a valuable service you may be interested to know about.
The Family Dog Service at the Assistance Dog Charity Dogs for Good is for parents and carers who have a child with autism between the ages of 3 and 16, who are either looking at getting a dog or who want to train their own pet dog to help their child. The service consists of three workshops followed by unlimited email and phone aftercare.
They are planning on running these workshops at the Pottery Bank Community Centre in Newcastle but are currently struggling to fill up the places. We would like to assist them in distributing the information about their workshops to raise awareness and spread the word – so please share.
